Letter C

 Cathy Cook is our Frogstreet character this week.  We sing a song about her and we draw her.  I give the verbal directions and the kids draw her.  She turned out pretty cute.

We have a picture dictionary in a notebook.  Each week the kids have to find the picture and color the pictures.  We can use these for writing activities.

We talked about what a scientist is.  I copied this poster from one of the great blogs I follow.  Then we read Sheep in a Jeep as part of our transportation unit.  We talked about force and gravity and how the jeep could move faster as the slope got higher!  We also decided if you don't wear a seatbelt, you could get thrown from the vehicle if you hit something!
